Wow Websites
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by Wow Websites, a website design and digital services company operating in Nigeria. By engaging our services, you (“Client”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services
Wow Websites provides website design, development, redesign, maintenance, and related digital services as agreed with the Client. The scope, timeline, and deliverables for each project will be outlined in a proposal, invoice, or written agreement.
2. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
Provide accurate and complete information, content, images, and materials required for the project.
Respond promptly to requests for feedback or approvals.
Ensure they have the legal right to use all content supplied to Wow Websites.
Delays caused by the Client may result in timeline extensions and/or additional costs.
3. Payments
All fees are stated in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless otherwise agreed.
A non-refundable deposit may be required before work begins.
Full payment must be made before final delivery or website launch, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Late payments may result in suspension of work or withholding of deliverables.
4. Revisions and Changes
Reasonable revisions are included as specified in the project agreement.
Requests that fall outside the agreed scope may be treated as additional work and charged accordingly.
5. Project Timelines
Estimated timelines are provided in good faith. Wow Websites is not responsible for delays caused by:
Client’s failure to provide required materials or approvals
Third-party services or providers
Events beyond our reasonable control
6. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, ownership of the final website design and content created by Wow Websites is transferred to the Client, except for third-party materials.
Wow Websites retains the right to display completed projects in its portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed.
7. Third-Party Services
Wow Websites may integrate or recommend third-party services (e.g., hosting providers, domain registrars, plugins).
We are not responsible for the performance, security, or availability of third-party services.
8. Hosting and Maintenance
Unless explicitly stated, Wow Websites is not responsible for ongoing hosting, backups, updates, or maintenance after project completion. Maintenance services may be offered under a separate agreement.
9. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public business or personal information shared during the course of the project, except where disclosure is required by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
Wow Websites shall not be liable for:
Loss of profits, data, or business arising from the use of the website
Errors caused by third-party software or services
Issues resulting from Client-provided content
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client for the services.
11. Indemnity
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold Wow Websites harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from content provided by the Client or misuse of the website.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate a project by written notice.
If terminated by the Client, fees for work already completed remain payable. Deposits are non-refundable.
13. Force Majeure
Wow Websites shall not be liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, internet failures, or government actions.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
15. Amendments
Wow Websites reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will apply to new projects and ongoing services where applicable.
